Be-ing in place on unceded land: considerations for the designer practising design on lands where sovereignty has never been ceded

I acknowledge the Gadigal people, the Wongal people and the Ngunnawal-Ngambri people upon whose ancestral lands I live and practice. I pay my respects to the Elders both past and present,acknowledging them as the traditional custodians of knowledge for this land, recognising that their sovereignty has never been ceded. I acknowledge Elders past, present and emerging, and all First Nations People – and pay my deepest respects for their continuing custodianship and generosity.
